A summary of services available include:
> Construction drawings and specifications for tendering
Using the approved Building Regulation drawings as a basis, further and more detailed information and drawings will be produced to assist the building contractor during both the tendering and construction processes.
Specifications and schedules of work can be produced in accordance with the client’s requirements and in-line with the agreed project budget. This will ensure that the required quality of materials and workmanship will be fairly and accurately priced by the tendering contractors.
> Budget cost estimates
Budget cost estimates can be developed during the pre-tender stage of a project in order to provide indicative construction costs and to assist in the development of specifications.
> Selection of suitable building contractors
We will use our existing knowledge and industry contacts to ensure that suitable contractors are carefully selected to tender for the building work. A strict and thorough assessment procedure will be carried out on all contractors.
> Assessment and checking of returned tenders
Priced tenders will be checked and scrutinised for irregularities and fully priced schedules of work will be requested from the lowest tenderers.
> Contracts, programme of work, health & safety issues
Suitable contracts will be put in place with building contractors prior to commencement of work on site. This will form the basis of a legally binding contract and confirm agreed costs and timescales.
A detailed programme of work will be produced with full approval of the client.
Health & Safety issues will be discussed with the contractor.
> Full on-site contract administration during the construction work
Pre-start and regular progress meetings will be held on site.
Monitoring of construction materials and standards of workmanship will ensure that the work is of the required high standard and in full accordance with the specification.
